Almost great
Only had these for a week so I can't speak for their longevity.
Overall first impression was good, solid but lightweight with a good ergonomic handle and grip.
A solid sheath with an attachable lanyard is very useful to prevent the dreaded pliers overboard that every fisherman has suffered at some point in his career.
The braid/mono cutters worked well from 10 - 50lb braid with a nice clean cut.
What is not so great are the wire cutting jaws, I tried them on a thin piece of solid steel wire, and while they did get through the wire it was at the cost of the jaws, one of them broke and now has a large chip missing from it.
Another minor criticism is the metal loop that comes with the lanyard to attach the pliers us too small, once opened up enough to thread through the handle hole it did not spring back making it now a catch all and leaving the lanyard prone to coming detached. I changed this out to a larger ring and all is good.
One other point of note is these pliers when in the sturdy sheath are quite large, due to the semi-sprung open position and the wide gape bewteen the handles. If your fishing is primarily done from a standing position this is not a problem, if you primarily sit when fishing the sheath becomes quite cumbersome.

Excellent Quality, Detailed Design; Braided line
This fishing tools is the best I've used. The blade cuts braided line with no fray. The pliers are super powerful and built to last. The grip is comfortable and no slip design. I'd like to get a small needle nose version for removing hooks from smaller fish.

All good bet the cut
The pliers are as advertised with the grip, comfort and salt resistance. the wire cutter is very brittle and sheared off cutting toothproof wire. It is also not user friendly when you have to cut a hooked rig. The hole that the wire needs to go through is not easy to access. Especially in a moderate + sea state

Great Fishing Pliers and Wire Cutting Tool
These fishing pliers are really a great find. The weighting is perfect, not too heavy or too light. They are comfortable to use and are really powerful. They are perfect for an unstable environment because of the non slip grips and the included carrying case. I am really glad I chose to purchase them and looking forward to many years of use.

I live in an abrasive salty invironment and haven't had anything that could last on the boat or tackle box, the titanium cuda plyers are stand in the test of time and cut my braided lines with ease! I would diffidently recommend these for anyone fresh or saltwater professional or novice anglers

Superb Product
As a co-host of the largest fishing outdoor radio show in our state I have the opportunity to test new products often. Many times, products don't live up to the hype. These Cuda fishing pliers do, cutter works great and so far they seem very durable. I have very much enjoyed using them

Great saltwater pliers
These pliers are extremely light weight yet extremely durable. They have 2 separate replaceable cutters witch is a great feature. There are titanium inserts that are also replaceable in the rare case that they break these pliers will be my trusty companion for many years on the water!

Great pair of pliers
Picked these guys up at the Bassmaster Classic. I fish primarily saltwater and have to say these things are solid. good construction. cuts right through the mono, braid, and wire we fish with. I definitely recommend them.

I purchased the Cuda 7.5 mono braid & wire cutters. The wire cutters will only cut a tag end. Why didn’t they make them to cut running ends. For example the wire from hook towards you main line?

Thanks for comments. This particular plier is designed with 2 sets of cutting blades, one for line and one for wire. We generally recommend the bottom cutters for wire, this helps protect the line cutting blades from being nicked or ruined. If the sealed cutting blades at the bottom are problematic for you, of course you can use the top blades to cut running ends. Every product is designed differently and for different purposes and this just happens to be the design for this tool. We hope this helps.

I fish live macs for strippers. Sometime the fish takes the circle hook deep. I would like a set of pliers that can not just cut the leader but cut the hook as well. typically fish with 5-6/0 hooks.

Generally speaking, it would be difficult for any plier to cut 5-6/O hooks. We do not have a plier with this capability. However, we do have a hook cutter, Cuda item #18178 that would handle this task without a problem. Hope this helps and thanks for the question.
